2 Part Lesson — Marcelo demonstrates a neat trick for catching the Guillotine: [I] If you find yourself on top of your opponent's back and he is defending his neck from the Seatbelt or Choke on just his nearside, swing off of his back and drive your hip into the side of his head to clear space and make your grip for the Guillotine Choke. If he jumps to the other side to pass and defend the choke, catch his leg with your hook and sweep him onto his back to finish from mount. [II] If he sprawls on your hook and defends the sweep, kick him off of your hook and turnover onto your knees to try the choke again from above, finishing in guard.
