2 Part Lesson — Marcelo shares a method of passing that oftentimes lead to the Back: [I] Rather than passing the guard by going over, through, or around--scoop underneath both of your opponent's hips and clasp your hands together to do the Double Under Pass. It is important to place your chest on his lower back and to drive offline so you force the opponent to turtle. Once prone, run around to the side for the Seatbelt, Crucifix, or the Hooks. [II] If your opponent resists by implementing the Elbow-Push Escape, pin his arm to the mat with your knee and melt down into the North/South Position for the pass.
