1 Part Lesson — Marcelo explains how to incrementally secure the Half Mount for the pass when his opponent resists the Double-Under/Stacking Pass: [I] Begin by gaining control of your opponent's leg; grab onto his ankle from the Double-Under Position and hug the leg close to your chest. When the opening presents itself, swim your shoulders through the opponent's frames and hop over his bottom knee for Underhook & Head Control. Once the cross-side shoulder is secure, concentrate your effort on defeating the bottom knee until you can orient yourself for the Over/Under Half Guard Pass; place sole of your foot on top of his knee and slip your trapt leg free to Side Control.
