2 Part Lesson - Marcelo shares an invaluable set of techniques for Butterfly Guard vs Standing: [I] If a standing opponent is Hand-Fighting to avoid letting you get close to his legs, use your Butterfly Hooks from the Seated Guard to fish for his ankle and reel his leg in for 1LX, X-Guard, or a Single. [II] If your opponent is avoiding you even more with added distance, reach for his head to distract him while you post behind and scoot forward, hooking his ankle and pulling it to you. If the first attempt does not work, look immediately to attack the opposite foot with the same tactics.
