2 Part Lesson — Marcelo masterfully explains a Spider Guard Pass: [I] Make counter-grips to avoid giving your opponent too much leverage over your body when he finds the Stirrup & Lasso Controls; grab his pants and lapel, respectively. Release the pants to expose his Biceps for a Stomp-Break. Immediately, grab his leg and tuck it underneath your base in Half Guard. Keep your weight away from the Lasso/Half and fight for Hand Control. When able, race over to the Lasso and smash it down as you dive for the Crossface. Break free from the Half and Circle around to N/S. [II] If your opponent exposes a gap between his arm and his side when trying to recover his position, release the Crossface and trade it for a Reverse Underhook.
