Foot Wipe Escape vs Knee-on-Belly → Breaking Gi Grips vs Knee-on-Belly → Single Leg vs Knee-on-Belly → Elbow-Knee Escape vs Mount from Knee-on-Belly → Hook Sweep from Butterfly Recovery
3 Part Lesson — Marcelo substitutes flexibility with momentum: [I] If you don't have enough time or flexibility to incorporate your leg into the Foot Wipe Escape against Knee-On-Belly, sit up and rock back to build enough momentum to whip your foot in front of the opponent for the push. [II] If your opponent keeps you down with a Collar Grip, use both hands to break his hold and then bump up, spinning belly-down onto a Single; if his far leg is nearby, capture it as well to finish with a Double from the Single Leg. [III] If your opponent takes the Mount as you go to break his grip for the Single, immediately perform the Elbow-Knee Mount Escape on the side facing the opponent's raised knee before it lands tightly against your side.
