2 Part Lesson — Marcelo emphasizes footwork to finish the Guillotine if his opponent bails: [I] If your opponent recovers his balance while still protecting against your Underhook after you shove him backward, look to snap his head down into a Guillotine Choke from Butterfly. Before he reacts, hip-escape out to the side to keep connected while you squeeze for the finish. [II] If your opponent bails from the top position and flops onto his back, use your bottom leg to bridge up on top and use your other outside leg to hitch onto the opponent's hips, following him to the Mount. Stabilize the Mount by pinching your knees together through his waist, even while placed back into ¾-Mount.
