Seatbelt Control from Back → Turtle to Side Control → Nearside Kimura Grip from Side Control → Near Side Armbar from Side Control → Side Control to Back Control
3 Part Lesson — Marcelo breaks down the Turtle Position to mount several attacks: [I] If your opponent guards up in the Turtle or Quarter Position, and you cannot readily maintain his Back with the Seatbelt Control, quickly grab onto his collar (Horse Collar Grip) and his belt and yank him open for your hands to insert inside. When he posts to defend the sudden yank, slip your arms around his body and either take the Back Mount with hooks or apply the Crucifix Position. [II] It is important not to warn your opponent of the jerk and also not to create a gap in between your bodies; if you remove your weight from his side, you offer up an opportunity for your opponent to recover back his Guard. [III] If your opponent doesn't open up his shell after you yank on his Turtle Guard, scoop underneath his topside arm and secure a Kimura Grip. Use the Figure-Four Double Wristlock to either finish the Shoulderlock (Gyaku Ude Garami), take the Nearside Armbar (Jujigatame), or use it to drive him prone once more to secure the Seatbelt Control.
