Arm Trap from Back → Rear Naked Choke → Straight Choke → Rear Naked Choke from Crucifix Position
2 Part Lesson — Marcelo shares his method of efficient choking: [I] After capturing your opponent's arm in an Arm Trap from the Back, approach his throat with the blade of your wrist and "turn-the-key" or "open-the-bottle" as you dig underneath his chin. Once you reach under, open your hand and "inch-worm" across, lifting your elbow and his head up as you sink the choke deeper around his neck. If you can't secure the traditional Rear Naked Choke with a Figure-Four, opt for the faster "Straight Choke" Version, clasping your hands together in a "Gable Grip". [II] The same methodology can be applied from the Crucifix Position -- while on top attacking the Turtle or from underneath on his Back.
