Passing vs Guard Pull → Over/Under Control vs Half Guard → Side Control to Back
2 Part Lesson — Marcelo encourages the development of immediate and aggressive response towards a Guard Pull: [I] Latch onto one of your opponent's legs as he lands in front of you; either pinning it down for a Knee Slide or Heavy Circle Pass, or underhooking it for a Shoulder Drive or Single Leg Stack Pass. [II] Prepare for contingencies; e.g. you may end up in Half Guard or the opponent could offer up his back to avoid your pass.
