2 Part Lesson — Marcelo recovers his Butterfly Guard: [I] If your opponent slips through your hand-fighting defenses and grabs onto your collar for a pass, immediately dedicate both hands to his wrist and break off his grip. If he passes by your leg as you go to break off the grip, use your far leg to catch a Butterfly Hook and extend him away from closing the distance. [II] If you miss the Buttefly Hook and he lands close to your side, use the grip on his wrist and sleeve to push his arm away to the outside; utilize this space to throw your leg and hip in between the opponent's chest to recover back your guard.
