2 Part Lesson — Marcelo sets up several armbar attacks after passing: [I] If you land into the Modified Scarfhold with an Overhook around your opponent's nearside arm, you are one quick step away from a tight armlock submisison; without raising up your hips too high or leaning your face back within reach of his legs, step over the opponent's head and plant your foot next to the opposite side of his face to hyperextend the elbow. [II] If you lose the Overhook, you can pop up to Knee-On-Belly and either catch the Underhook for the Farside Armbar or sit back for the Nearside Armbar when he reaches for your far leg. When practicing these kinds of Armbar with the opponent's hand in your armpit, be very careful applying pressure when you place your leg across the face.
