Jumping on the Back → Seatbelt Control
2 Part Lesson — Marcelo jumps for Seatbelt Control: [I] While behind your opponent in a Back Bodylock, force your opponent to release your hands by either making him off-balance or lifting him into the air and returning him to the mat. Once his hands let go, either to catch his balance or in fear of landing, immediately launch your chest directly to the center of his back between his shoulders. Lock on the Seatbelt Grip and hold your upper body in parallel with his as you set your Back Hooks. [II] If your opponent is too heavy to lift, jump and hang from his hips with your feet placed behind his knees to help topple him backward. Lean forward slightly to prevent from heaving the opponent directly on top of your body where it can be hard to transition to the Seatbelt.
