4 Part Lesson — Marcelo commits to the Flying Guillotine: [I] You can catch your opponent off guard with his neck exposed by diving over the top of his Seated Position and rolling onto your back while locking on the Guillotine Choke. Hold the opponent's head on your chest as you begin squeezing with a back arch or bridge, and roll to the side where your head passes freely. Swing your leg onto his back and pull guard with a shin on his hips to finish the strangle. [II] Commit to the dive and make your arms seize the open neck; jump with your lead leg on the same side as your main or primary choking arm to ensure a finish from bottom. [III] If you cannot find a good bite on your neck while arching, take his head off of your chest and perform a backwards roll into the Mount Position. [IV] Roll straight behind your shoulder so that you land along the vertical plane to keep your opponent pinned down and away from a turning escape.
