2 Part Technique - Often, an opponent will transition inside your Butterfly Guard to nullify your Double Under Hooks and press your back to the mat. Connect your hands with the Under Hook and Head Control to prevent the opponent from posturing away during your sweep. Stretch out the opponent's legs at his knees to give you the space needed to place a Hook inside. Lift at the opponent's arm to remove his elbow post and finish with the Hook Sweep. If the opponent presses down on your leg to pass to Half Guard during your Hook entry, continue to use the Under Hook and Head Control for a Bridge Sweep. Change your grip, bridge away from the opponent, and hip escape to start the sweep. From your new Half Guard, switch your legs to change the way you post, and bridge while twisting the opponent over you for the sweep.
