Estima-Lock to Straight Ankle-Lock with Rear-Naked Finish
Braulio shows Joel, Paul, and Marcelo a powerful variation of the straight ankle-lock: If your opponent is able to defend themselves from an initial attack placed against their foot with the Estima-Lock, you can pass their foot to your opposite side and transition into a Reverse Fig.-4 Grip foot-lock finish. Essentially, the Rear-Naked Choke style configuration of your arms from the Estima-Lock translates directly across to the far hip, allowing you to catch the end of your opponent's toes for a strong break against their ankle. Place your feet against your opponent's hips to prevent them from elevating and relieving pressure from the submission.
