2 Part Technique - Utilize the Frame Escape as soon as your opponent passes your Half Guard with the Over Under Pass. This will create enough space for you to expose his shoulder, hip escape, and swing your leg down on him for the Omoplata. Make sure to sit up quickly, rock with your free leg, and to keep your chopping leg heavy. If your opponent has a tighter control over you after he passes, extend your arm across his face to pull free your other hand for the Frame. Try to lock your arm out on his head to create as much space as possible, otherwise you may have to resort to flexibility to clear space for the Omoplata.

Try this one Bexy (the second escape in the video): http://www.mginaction.com/VideoDetails.aspx?VideoId=4558

You can actually find some clip of Paul Schreiner hitting this escape several times on Marcelo in live rolling.

Can I ask please?  What would be the strategy if the guy did not follow to his knees and remained in the broken scarf hold (As many Judo guys do)?  I find this difficult to shrimp the hip escape from here.
