2 Part Technique - A major point to consider when holding the Seatbelt is to strike for the Rear Naked Choke at the moment you notice his neck exposed. Even the most diligent opponent will eventually forget to tuck his chin or tire from doing so over time. Control both wrists; your underhook hands holds 1on1 wrist control while your choking overhook hand simply reaches over his shoulder to control his other wrist. Your attack will also depend on which side you happen to fall on while holding the Seatbelt Control. Remember to use your own head to block his head from escaping to the mat when laying on your underhook side. If at all possible, use either wrist control to push his arm down and trap it with your top hook. This will allow you one free hand to dig under his chin, and anchor into his shoulder. You need to develop confidence in biting down with this hand so that even when he pulls down to counter, you will still be able to maintain the position. Practice your one-armed finish, and resort to the full figure-four lock behind his head when necessary.
