Preventing and Escaping the Collar Choke from the Guard
2 Part Technique - The best option is to break the opponent's grip before they can establish the second hand to choke. However if the opponent is able to get the 2nd hand across to start working the choke, block the arm on the bottom to prevent choking pressure. Now, get your second hand in between their arms and slide your hand back to break the grip the opponent has on the back of your gi. Now, stand with the 2on1 Control and break the opponent's guard and use the Knee Across Guard Pass, to pass the opponent's guard.
