Elbow Push vs Toreando Pass, Seat Belt Control vs Reverse Side Control, Crucifix from Back
3 Part Technique - Whenever your opponent commits his upper body to controlling your legs, whether it be for a Toreando Pass or Stacking Pass, you are not obligated to concede putting your back flat onto the mat. Stiff-Arm his exposed tricep and sit up, posting your other hand behind you for support. If you can't escape your hips and legs to recover guard, and you cannot hit the Hip Turn because his base is too stable, resort to spreading your legs apart and fastening the Seatbelt for Back Control. If he happens to leave an arm between your legs as you break free from his grip, proceed onward but into the Crucifix.
