Learning & Growth from Competition Experience II
Marcelo shares his belief in optimally improving oneself by loving jiu-jitsu in such a way that you never need to take a break from it: Win or lose, come back to the mats right away after a tournament, super-fight, or competition; so that you may work on honing and sharpening your technical skill-set, while also deleting glitches from your game and debugging its lines of code. Continue to practice effective moves and efficient maneuvers that are validated from empirical success when they are executed in a live performance setting. Train yourself to discard anything that proves detrimental to your process until what remains is a more robust and impervious framework from which you can improve upon and test again during live-sparring.
