Seatbelt Control from Back Mount → Rear Naked Choke Variation (Straight Choke) → Handfighting from Back Control
2 Part Lesson — Marcelo busts up a strong choke defense: [I] If your opponent is complacent in defending your choke rather than taking a risk to escape, take advantage of his self-imposed immobility by releasing the Seatbelt and begin attacking with two hands; place one hand on his brow/forehead and peel his chin away from his chest (like a PEZ Dispenser), pulling with the power of your back. Before he tucks his chin again to defense his neck, cut your forearm across his throat and clasp your hands together in a Gable Grip for the Straight Choke finish. [II] If your opponent is still preventing you from creating a sufficient gap in his defense, place both hands on his forehead and then race toward his neck. If his hands are in the way, try coming from the front of his face to insert your choking arm.
