5 Part Drill - Finding an underhook to establish a pass after you've crossed your knee is oftentimes best done with a bit of fancy footwork. Switching your base on your opponent until you get what you need will oftentimes trip up his defenses and reveal a weakness to exploit. It is important to build familiarity, and ease of mobility in switching around your weight on your opponent, hence the elaborate, but crucial drilling of this series.

Great driil.  I practice out of my garage with a few 40 year olds.  I have never been to a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu school.  I have never been to a tournament or have done any free rolling.  BUT, I see all to often on youtube people struggling to pass the guard; wasting lots of energy.  These drills are great.  Master these, and I think passing the guard will become second nature.
