If the opponent locks Half Guard high against your Over Under Pass and straightens your weight in alignment, collapse his based foot. You cannot see what is blocking your advancement, but you know what is obstructing you. If the opponent establishes an Under Hook towards the end, switch your pass by back stepping without resting your weight on the mat.
