Toe Hold Escape ;
2 Part Technique - Playing Open Guard with loose feet is dangerous, because you expose yourself to Toe Holds and Foot Locks. The opponent will initiate the Toe Hold by focusing his attention towards your open foot, then roll to torque the submission. Prevent the opponent's roll by crossing you leg against the back of his legs to stop his movement. Your counter commonly ends with exposing the opponent's back. If the opponent finishes the roll, keep your leg straight to protect your ankle, sit up immediately, and use your hands to untangle the opponent's attack.
