2 Part Technique - The point of this lesson is twofold; learning how to properly generate momemtum once folded, and how to turn a guard recovery immediately into your advantage. Support yourself up on your elbow by framing against your opponent's neck to rock back down hard with your hooks as you lift. You can simply recover back your Butterfly Guard, but if you want to make an aggressive play, go for 1Leg X-Guard instead by kicking your outside hook straight, letting his leg slide down into the trap.
