2 Part Lesson — Marcelo teaches his Advanced Class how to Attack the Back from Standing: [I] If your opponent turns away to escape your Single Leg Takedown, take advantage of his exposed back by jumping directly on his back with your hooks set and the Seatbelt fastened. Gain 1on1 Wrist Control with your underhook, meanwhile fight for a grip on the opponent's lone hand to prevent him from impeding your shoot for the Rear Naked Choke. [II] If your opponent is able to grab your choking hand before you can attack the neck, switch to Crossed Arms Control from the Back and race against his defense to the choke with a head-start after your release the grip.
