3 Part Lesson — Paul teaches multiple interconnected sweeps from Spider Guard: [I] If you feel through your Spider Hooks that your opponent is leaning forward, replace your Stirrup (Foot-On-Bicep) for both feet on his hips for the Overhead Balloon Sweeps. [II] If your opponent is neutrally based, guide him forward with your Spider Hook to get underneath his base for the same sweep. [III] If your opponent is leaning away from your Spider Hooks, take him off-balance in that direction by cupping behind his heel and tripping him backwards with the Sickle Sweep. If his leg is too far away to grab, place a hook underneath his knee, switch for a cross-sleeve grip, and grab the opposite heel for the Tripod/Cross Sweep.
