2 Part Technique - Close Half Guard to prevent the opponent from finishing the Guard Pass. If the opponent switches to Back Step Pass vs Half Guard to counter you holding Half Guard, curl your body tight to stop him from securing your head and escaping his leg for the pass. Lock your legs to prevent a Knee Bar and control the knee while holding around the opponent with your other arm to create a cradle. Quickly switch your foot under his leg and bridge, while Hook Sweeping the opponent to either score points or escape the position. If the opponent was able to control the position by using his elbows to stretch your body, immediately bridge to dig your elbows under neath to prevent the opponent from completely dominating the situation. With your arms building a frame, bridge again while scooting your hips under to either escape the position or score points.
