3 Part Lesson — Marcelo and Kon show more on the Back Step Counter Attack: [I] Tuck in your elbow, hide your head, and hug the far hip as your opponent lands in your Reverse Half from a Back Step. Feed his lapel behind his back and switch your hook underneath his leg to help launch him as you kick over to the top. [II] Remember to hold on to your opponent's knee to prevent him from turning out of your Hook Sweep from Reverse Half. If you can catch his far wrist, push his arm back to reach your other hand for 1on1 Wrist Control so he cannot post against your sweep. [III] If your opponent prevents you from basing for the sweep by locking around your leg with a Figure-4, grab onto his collar and perform the same sweep as before with his arm trapt in a 1on1.
