Marcelo reveals one of the most vital details to finishing the N/S Choke yet! The angle of your armpit as it strikes the opponent's neck must be obtuse, not acute. If the angle is too sharp, there will be wiggle room for your opponent to tuck his chin inside and survive the pressure. Landing acutely (with your armpit angle less than 90°) results in just pinching the opponent's jaw with your ribs and biceps. If you can land underneath the opponent's chin with your armpit angled obtusely (θ > 90°), then apply the pinch, and then the shoulder drop downward, you will finish the opponent in no time flat. Kobe.
