3 Part Lesson — Marcelo demonstrates his version of the Leg Drag Attack: [I] Place your opponent in a Quarter Mount by controlling his knee and ankle, and feeding it between your legs when facing his Open Guard. Prepare for his other leg to come in to play; quickly drag it across his center-line and smash down on his legs with a bodylock for a Modified Folding Pass. [II] If the opponent picks his hips up off of the mat after you smash his legs together, look for Head & Arm Control. The idea is to pass his guard first before looking to establish Side Control, on the opposite side with your Underhook across his body. [III] If he gives up after you capture his head and he pulls Half Guard, place more weight over his hips and quickly cross your knee to the other side for the pass with the opposite Head & Arm Control.
