2 Part Lesson — Marcelo adds the N/S Choke as an option off of an Omoplata: [I] If your opponent doesn't grab around your body after he rolls out of your Omoplata to come on top, push him back down flat, avoiding his hands, and drop your ribs against his exposed neck for the North South Choke. [II] Lean over the opponent's chest as you prevent him from sitting back up off the mat. Wait for neck to open itself up for the choke; when he looks up or away from you, drop your ribs against the side of his neck and latch together a Gable Grip to squeeze for the tap.
