Double Leg Takedown → Figure-Four Lock from Tackle
3 Part Lesson — Marcelo prevents his opponent from slipping out of a tackle: [I] If your opponent is trying to break free from your Double Leg on the mat, mount over top of his legs before releasing your hold and climbing up higher for the finish. [II] If his hips are coming up off the mat, use the space he creates against him by lacing on a figure-four lock below his knees. [III] To complete the figure-four, raise the leg that is behind his knees and not the one in front; otherwise, you run the risk of a Double Hook Sweep.
