Breaking Gi Grips from Standing and Double Leg Take Down

2 Part Technique - Instead of fighting after the opponent establishes their grip first, it is better to break their grips and establish a control of your own. After you break their grips the opponent will usually try to engage again for a control which exposes them for a takedown. The Double Leg Takedown is a great takedown in this situation to use.
