2 Part Lesson — Marcelo demonstrates an instance where he will opt for an Arm-In Guillotine finish: [I] When your opponent continues to drive forward while underneath your Sprawl for a Takedown, he inadvertently leaves an opportunity to attack his neck with choke. Switch from the Front Headlock Position to holding just the head and swing your shin across his hips as you fall back, pulling guard. Raise your elbow high on top of the shoulder and swing your leg over his back to prevent his escape. [II] If your opponent is allowing you to pull his arm forward without much resistance, you may fall back into the Guillotine Choke with his arm stuck along your hip. If your arms are long enough to apply a Figure-4, aka Anaconda Choke, do so; however, if your arms are short, simply lock on with the normal Seat-Belt Style Guillotine Grip.
