Guillotine vs Takedown → Taking Back vs Low Single Leg
2 Part Lesson — Marcelo counterattacks a Single Leg Takedown attempt: [I] If your opponent manages to capture your leg before you can properly sprawl back in defense of a Single Leg, apply pressure to their head, forcing them down towards the mat. If they insist on raising up, allow their neck to expose and slip down onto a Guillotine Choke. Hide your fingers and prevent them from making it over to the Escape-Side with your leg blocking the way. [II] If they don't lift up and their head remains low from your post, turn your knee away and slip your foot out as you sit backwards onto their back. Fasten the Seatbelt and keep your weight from tipping forward over their shoulder to take the back.
