1 Part Lesson -- Marcelo defends an Arm Triangle from the bottom of the Front Headlock Position: Tuck your chin, latch onto the nearer forearm, splay your legs wide, and drop your weight down onto your opponent's arms assuming a Dead-Frog position. The idea is to prevent your opponent from deepening the choke or maneuvering your body into a position where they can readily apply a squeeze for the finish. Wait out your opponent until they tire or release the hold to avoid the submission; or possibly, you can slowly work yourself free and out of danger.
