1 Part Lesson -- Paul shows a transition toward the back against a tight Side Control: If you cannot create enough room with your bridge to fully lock out your boxed frame for guard recovery, bump up to make some space for a farside arm pummel. Block a potential Crossface by holding your head with your nearside arm, and your new Underhook to help jack the opponent up and away from your chest. Turn over onto your knees grabbing the far hip and pull yourself out to the back to escape your opponent's Underhook & Head Control from Side Mount.
