2 Part Technique - When the opponent puts your back to the mat to pass your guard, you must keep your feet inside and push back to reset yourself into the Butterfly Guard. If the opponent is able to get under a leg to start Stack Passing, wave your foot inside and push to reestablish yourself back into Butterfly Guard. Now, if the opponent progresses further and is able to get past your legs, post with your arms to prevent them from establishing Side Control. Wave your foot inside and push once again, to reestablish yourself in the Butterfly Guard. If the opponent is too close to wave your foot inside, hold them with your knee and break the Gi Grip that is allowing them to stay close. Now, wave the foot inside and push to get back into the Butterfly Guard.
