Marcelo helps Megan refine her armbar technique from guard: The Hizagatame (literally translated as Knee-Lock) is aptly named for its primary mechanic entails squeezing the opponent's arm between one's knees. If you neglect pinching with your inside/bottom leg, your opponent will often lower down and offer up an Omoplata. Marcelo finds that this technique works particular well against larger opponents due to the mistake of trusting that they can escape with strength by slowing pulling out their arm from danger.
