1 Part Lesson -- Paul demonstrates a rear takedown that bypasses the guard: Hiding your head from back-elbows while holding the Back Bodylock (Rear Clinch, Waistlock from behind, et al.), outstretch your leg and step on your opponent's heel as you fall towards your hip to apply a modified variation of Taniotoshi. Upon impact, turn over to your knee and cut your shin up the middle of your opponent's thighs for the Leg-Drag Position. Post your free leg behind your opponent's hips as a backstop against a hip escape and use grips around the waist to help hold yourself close for the pin. Advance upward towards the opponent's head and shoulders by replacing the pressure on the hips with your opposite knee in a back-stepping motion as you hug the head and secure an Underhook.
