Bow and Arrow Choke Counter
Lesson Part 2 of 2 -- Marcelo performs efforts toward escaping the Bow & Arrow Choke: While maintaining an arch against your opponent's Back Control, you must run your legs away from your opponent's reach if they try to grab your pants to string you up and stretch you out. Work to place your head and shoulder on the mat using the pressure from your bridge to help escape your back from your opponent's torso. Try twisting on top into your opponent if they don't try to salvage their position with the Mount. If your opponent is closing in on obtaining the Mount, push their leg into your Half Guard and turn up onto your side to defend your position.
