Triangle Choke Variation
Master Fabio Gurgel shares a finishing variation of the Triangle oftentimes referred to as the Teepee-Choke: If your opponent isn't quite susceptible to the Reverse-Triangle, opt for the following reconfiguration; reach around behind your knees and lock an S-Grip with your hands. Pinch your elbows inward and pull the opponent's head down while also lifting your hips up. Squeeze their neck by straightening your legs out while keeping your ankles crossed. Be careful throttling your partner's torso with this movement; the choke creates powerful pressure behind your opponent's shoulder to drive it into their own neck for the strangle.
