Advanced Drill -- Marcelo resets his posture to regain the initiative: If your opponent breaks your posture while seated upright playing from Butterfly-Guard, you cannot remain pinned for too long with your back flat on the mat; use your Butterfly-Hooks and your grips to help pull your opponent forward enough to load their weight up onto your shins. Kick your hooks straight out, pushing your opponent away so that you can sit back up and return to a seated position using their falling momentum. After recomposing your posture, you can now launch a follow-up attack with an even stronger Hook-Lift; yank your opponent forward and throw your back to the ground while scooting your hips underneath your kneeling partner. You can now direct your opponent into any number of directions for attack, e.g. the Inverted-Armbar (a.k.a. Ude-Gatame, Razor-Armlock, Telephone-Armbar, Straight-Armlock, et al.).
