Marcelo switches to the far-side arm for a finish: If your opponent is able to retract their arm out of extension upon landing from your Ippon-Seoinage (or One-armed Shoulder-Throw), close the distance and make chest-on-chest contact; ideally, seek to connect to your opponent with an Under-Hook and Head-Control to pin them down and then hunt for a submission. If your opponent manages to pummel their far-arm into an Under-Hook of their own, release your Cross-face and trade it for a Reverse Over-Hook on the far-side as you switch your base. Capture your opponent's wrist and secure their far-arm with a Figure-4 Grip, i.e. grabbing onto your own wrist with your over-hooked hand while maintaining same-side wrist control. Switch your base towards the opposite direction, facing your opponent's head, and slowly begin pushing their trapped hand behind their back and towards their head. Make sure to maintain your balance while switching your base from your knees wide in Cross-Side Mount into the other leg orientations resting on your hips.
