2 Part Technique - Over & Under Control from Butterfly is a battle for who can fall to the side that allows either underhook to dominate the position. If you realize your opponent is winning this battle and you begin falling onto your underhook-side, take preemptive measures by stopping his forward movement with your feet on his hips. In this moment, there is an opportunity to hyperextend his own underhook by transitioning into the Elbow Control Armbar: Grab his elbow, push him away, and turn his elbow-pit upward (like turning a doorknob to open a door). The finishing pressure arrives via lifting your hips into his arm with your feet still posting off of his hips. Use your knees to keep him in danger if he tries to posture up. If he manages to close the distance and release the pressure, switch to Overhook & Wrist Control to slap on Triangle Guard; from here, you can finish with the triangle or go back to the Elbow Control Armbar.
