2 Part Technique - If your opponent escapes your collar choke by pulling your arm around his head, don't give up on your chance for a different submission. Instead of letting him escape outright, trade your back control for an opportunity to finish with the North South Choke by reaching across his chest and establishing Double Arm Control. Since your opponent will give up on coming up on top, he'll probably lock your top hook into his Half Guard. Continue to hold the Double Arm Control by grasping his belt, and kick your leg free to Double Over Control from North South. If he doesn't readily expose the nearside of his face for the start of the choke, slide low and use your ribs to plow his head over so he faces the way.
