Armbar from Mount
1 Part Technique - The best set-ups for submission are the ones that your opponent unwittingly gives you, as is the case for the Armbar from Mount when he inadvertently extends his arm in an attempt to push you off of him. Capitalize on his instinctive decision by seizing his arm, driving your hips forward, and stepping around his head into the armlock position. The trick for executing this smoothly is a matter of properly redistributing the weight of each leg in your base: Step high into his armpit and shift your weight onto this foot to lighten your other leg enough to swing around his head. Finish the submission by pulling his arm down towards the side of his legs, pinching your knees together, and raising your hips.
