2 Part Technique - The Front Headlock is a versatile position, in that, you can finish the fight with the guillotine choke (no arms inside) or easily take the back with the Seatbelt and/or Crucifix. When things don't go your way here though, it in good conscience to be prepared with escapes for when you're taken down while holding the headlock, and your opponent is able to pop his head out. As you feel your grip weaken, use his backward pressure against him by occupying the space he pulls away from with your arms locking out on his shoulder and arm. This will buy you enough time to slide your shin between your hips and his, and execute the Foot Wipe technique. If you cannot properly fend off his crossface with your extended arms, at least pass it away from your head, thus allowing you to hit the Elbow Push Escape on his exposed tricep.
